In early Oct. 2005 and the middle of the Sonic Site Awards, I wanted to get in on the site making fun. Soon an idea popped into my head, make a site about my favorite character, Knuckles. YES! That was it. The best idea yet. There were no other Knuckles sites around so I could do it, but was I about to pull it off with little HTML? The answer was sorta. =/ Emerald Guardian started out with a simple red layout that burned your eyes outta your skull and one shitty banner that was made in Paint. With a simple profile of Knuckles and a few pictures of him. Nothing too special. It wasn't very popluar and it was very n00bish. We had a very long URL, it was a sub-domain for my personal site. The URL was http://www.sepwich.com/timper/emeraldguardian/.
Soon in Nov. 2005. Icee and I hanged up together to make Emerald Guardian bigger and better. Well lets just say it was better then when we started thats for sure.We finally had a pretty nice layout from Icee's Photoshop skills and knew more HTML then I did at the time. Then I finally added a hit counter. We had also moved to a new URL. Due to Sepwich's server move. We had some more info on Knuckles and some game info. Emerald Guardian was growing up. *tear*
Ahhh, Christmas time. One of my favorite times of the year. So you know I had to have Emerald Guardian show it's Christmas cheer. So in Dec. 2005. Icee whipped up a really fly Christmas layout. We our little but growing site showed it's love for Christmas.
Jan. 2006, a brand new year, and new things for Emerald Guardian. Our layout was a bit late into the month but we wanted it prefect for the new year. We had alot of information, goodies, a sexy banner made by Dalton from Tailman Team, some fan works, and even a FFMedia player! Emerald Guardian was finally getting noticed and we soon had an Invision Power Board called Rad Red forums. We also had a server switch to Sonic Strike. Emerald Guardian's finally home.
In early Feb. 2006, I got an email from a friend named, Knuxster. He wanted to work for Emerald Guardian by being a graphics designer. Which was great because Icee and I were on the look out for one because Icee wasn't allways online anymore. I saw his work and it was great. He got the job and he soon started on a brand new layout for Emerald Guardian. Boy, is it sexy! Our best layout yet! Also another sexy banner from Dalton and he also designed our new logo. ^_^ Also Feb is the month of Knuckles' birthday. So we had tons of updates. Last but not least I hooked up with a radio station named SEGA Games Radio. I appliedfor a DJing job and got it! Mike_Talyor who owns SEGA Games Radio linked up with Emerald Guardian. Emerald Guardian was soon turning into a network. I wasn't planning on it to happen. It just did. So Emerald Guardian is Knuckles based Network, I guess you can say. ^_^
